Met up with Christina for dinner at Hard Rock Cafe (HRC). As the name suggests, HRC is known for its rock N roll, country rock ambience (used to for its pencil waist size model like waitresses) and its western cuisine of steaks and chips. It was pretty packed when we got there, partially because the next day was a public holiday. Waited for awhile by the bar before being allocated a 2 seater at the 2nd level. Initially, when I suggested to dine at HRC, I kinda forgotten how it is like as the last time I patronize there was about a year to two ago. Thus while we were waiting for our tables, conviction kinda hit me pretty hard. I know it doesn't mean much, but a thought went through my head,' what on earth are you doing, associating yourself by a bar! Not to mention with a girl beside you.' 2 years ago, given the same situation, I wouldn't care much. Somehow on Thur, I did. Seems that God is reminding me that I am bearing witness for him 24/7, and being by a bar is a place a Christian shouldn't be found at. Thankfully, in less than 10min, we were given a table.
Thank God that the fellowship over dinner was great. Talked about personalities and traits of a perfectionist, which I happen to be. We each had burgers and shared a mud pie (which I sort of 'forced' her to try).

After which, we made our way to HMV Hereen to see if anything new was released. Chris has a pretty good knowledge on vocal singers and their pieces as well. *thumbs up* =)
But she had to go back early.
Despite of that, the train ride back was a thirsty one as well. Chatted from sports psych to me being a depressionist. Interesting.

Thank God that the Choir and YPC Presentations were smooth. Since there was no BBK or choir practice after Easter service, Christina, HJ and myself went to jurong point for lunch. The night before, we were discussing if we should go ice-skating! But we lacked a 4th person, thus decided to call it off. However, during lunch, we realized that there isn't really much time to skate after service and before SGBF, so it doesn't really matter if there is a 4th person or not. So... ..., Chris and HJ went back home to change and get their gloves while I can't. Thus I skated in my formal attire and purchased another pair of glove. Since the last time I skated was 2 years ago, I thought I will take quite awhile to get use to the ice, but surprisingly the moment I stepped on it, the ability to skate came back to me like it was awaiting my return! Thus I glided along the rough ice, trying to recollect what I had been missing. Since I was in formal wear, I avoided any risky skating so that I won't fall, and thank God I didn't.
I guess what I liked best about ice-skating is the close to frictionless movement across a plain by just simply gliding with the force and momentum generated. By putting speed into the equation, one can enjoy the cold wind, brushing against, along and by your face. What I like most is the thrill (if I don't fall) of turing at a sharp bend at high velocity before maneuvering through the crowd that may present itself along my way. Even Christina agrees with me about the additional thrill of speed skating, right Chris? HaHa. So, in order to get HJ to experience the thrill, we drag her along as we skated, at times I will pair up with HJ to play tag with Chris. Hilarious. Sadly, all good things must come to an end. We entered at 1500, but the ring has to be closed by 1630 due to ice-hockey practice. Yes, we were shortchanged for half an hour, but the desire of just to get on ice was too strong to be withheld.

Aftermath Shot
Sadly, there isn't gonna be any more opportunity for a de ja vu. Closest remedy is that the 1st of May is a public holiday. So.... Get the hint? Let’s start looking for that 4th person now!
