Mediaedge
Finally, after 5 and the half days of fever, it has finally left me. Thank God for Esther. She forwarded my resume to her boss at Mediaedge where she is interning and they got back to me, fixed me up with an interview too. The interview was really a joke. Dear Esther emailed me, asking me to dress smart with a tie etc, and the best part is, she told me to bring a suit along, put it on my hand when I meet my interviewer. So I did. My interviewer, now my boss, is Rosemary. Initially when I was on the phone with her, she sounded like some old ‘ang-moh’ woman. She turned out to be a middle age woman, look Chinese. She carries herself in a pretty flawless manner, so I guess it’s quite hard to not like her.
So it’s goodbye Nestle and hello Mediaedge.
Mediaedge, some sort of an advertising company. Me, coming from an engineering background, what do I know about media or advertising? Absolutely nothing. Esther told me to read up on recent developments on interactive media. That was challenging enough. But thank God, the interview was very smooth and today it’s my 2nd day interning at Mediaedge till mid-Oct, while most of my friends enlist tomorrow. Oh well.
Vienna Boys are coming to town!! Again. 7-8th Oct. I am so going to catch it. But the tickets are kinda expensive. So guess it is time to start saving up…
