Since I've gotten stitches. Received 5 new ones today, on my head!!! (of all places). Hit my head against the edge of a drooping panel. I could feel it piercing into my head before I find myself collapsing, with blood dripping to the ground. Using my right palm to press against the wound, it got covered in blood in no time. While I was on the ground, witnessing the blood drips, I realized; this is the first time in my life I've been such a state! With blood flowing from my head and all. Not that it was an enjoyable experience, but still...
Ok, don't really know what I'm saying. Guess I'm still alittle disoriented and all. Here's a pic. Not the best of shots, but, you get the idea.
This Day In History - Fit For Flight (FFF)
Signed off my first jet, declaring that it is fit for flight. Putting down my signature above the dotted line has never seem so terrifying. Should anything, ANYTHING, happen to that jet or it simply did not return (due to crew error), my head will be on the chopping board, along with my 'boss' who counter signs it.
Better still, my first jet (which successful returned *WHEW!*) was a black knight jet, flown by a Lieutenant Colonel, who also happen to be the lead black knight pilot. http://asia.news.yahoo.com/070912/5/singapore299151.html. Damn stress. Imagine screwing up his jet. I'll be so so so gone... Oh well.. Thankfully all went well... But if under high time pressure and fatigue, it won't be so easy...

Yup. He's gone, for good, at 71. Luciano Pavoratti, world renowned tenor has departed from us. Part of the 3 tenors, his vocals has always been a joy to listen to. Don't know why, but I felt upset about his death. Such a pity, that such a great vocalist has left us. I think I'll be even more upset if the likes of Carreras, Brightman, Ball, Page etc departs...
